AoA’s previous Strategic Action Plan provided a framework for modernizing the role of the Aging Services Network in long-term care. This modernization strategy was designed to strengthen the Network’s role in advancing systemic changes in long-term care at the state and community-level. This Strategic Action Plan for 2007-2012 continues the focus on modernizing the Aging Services Network’s role in long-term care, and gives particular attention to implementing the new provisions contained in the Older Americans Act Amendments of 2006
